What is puppy culture?

Puppy culture is a training protocol by Jane Killian.  Puppy culture works with each stage of the development. It’s an in depth training protocol which starts at birth until the puppies go home and can continue on at home as well.

You say that you do early neurological stimulation. What does that do?

We do the bio sensory/ early neurologic stimulation with each and every puppy. All of these actions provide stimulation that does not occur naturally. These exercises impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected. The result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance. Along with that, a puppy that can better acclimate to changes as they grow research has also shown: Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate) + Stronger heart beats + Stronger adrenal glands + More tolerance to stress and + Greater resistance to disease.   

At what age can a puppy go home?

Per Ohio law and our own personal ethics, we will not allow a puppy to go home prior to 8 weeks. We also prefer for the puppies to go home over YOUR weekend. This allows you and the puppy to have more time to bond, and gives them a chance to acclimate a little better into your home.

Do you vaccinate the puppies before they go home?

Yes, we do give the puppies age appropriate vaccinations and a wellness check from our veterinary clinic prior to puppy go home dates.

What if I cannot pick up my puppy at 8 weeks? Will you keep them extra time?

If we have the availability, we are willing to keep the puppy for extra days, however; this will come at a charge.

How do I put down a deposit?

We require a conversation to ensure we are a good fit for you and vice versa prior to accepting any deposits. Deposits are accepted at 1 week old. Please contact us for more information.

How does payment and selection process work?

We require a deposit to hold a pick. Going by the order of money received, we will allow families to pick their puppy starting at 4 weeks. We require that you choose your puppy within a few days of visiting to allow the families after you to choose as well. Payment in full is required at pick up. Total payment for standards is $1,300.00. Medium’s are $1,500.00. Cavapoos and mini doodles are $2,000.00.
